Rosa Juanco (Madrid, 1963) lives and works between Madrid and Brussels. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and after further studies at the Lorenzo de Medicis Institute in Florence and the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York, went on to earn a master’s degree in Cultural Project Management at La Fábrica in Madrid. She is a partner in CUMEDIAE (Culture & Media Agency Europe) where she leads the art direction of projects. Juanco has held individual and group exhibitions in Spain, Mexico, Jerusalem and, notably, Belgium. In her practice she moves between painting and photography, maintaining at all times a connecting thread between both disciplines. Her work can be found in the collections of the Museo de Bellas Artes de San Fernando (Madrid), Gplus (London), Fundación Caixa de Sabadell and Casa Sefarad-Israel (Madrid), among others.
