‘Economic incentives to workers in a regulated labour market. An analysis using panel data’

This information will be gleaned through a survey of industrial firms, whose results will be used to create an original, unpublished panel database.

A starting point is provided by the information and results obtained in a previous survey forming part of the project ‘New systems of work and production organisation: their impact on the competitiveness of Spanish companies’, financed in 1997 by the BBVA Foundation.

In this new survey, we will interview many of the companies analysed in the above project, focusing on their experience of performance-related pay schemes. The result will be a panel of unique characteristics, as the only one of its kind analysing the impact of such incentive practices in the Spanish corporate sector.
