DESCRIPTION
This study examines patterns of mobile usage, the profile of phone owners, the range of services and applications available and utilized, and the access barriers facing those still not equipped with this technology. It also looks at how users and non-users view the mobile and its impact on different areas of life.
The information in this study was obtained by surveying a representative sample of the Spanish population aged 14 and over, with a sample size of 6,013. The survey’s design and analysis were the work of the Social Studies Department of the BBVA Foundation, and the fieldwork, completed in February 2003, was carried out by TNS Demoscopia.
