DESCRIPTION
Our project sets out to review this model and define its limits through an analysis of existing data.
We propose four levels of objectives, starting from a study of the contemporary view of Europe as exceptional in the world, moving onto the homogeneity and diversity of European countries and then comparing the countries making up the Catholic south (France, Spain, Portugal and Italy).
Finally, we will consider the synchrony and diachrony of the Spanish case. This means, first of all, confecting a syncretic description of the historical process of separation of Church and State. And secondly, exploring the regional and social homogeneity-heterogeneity of the religious consciousness in Spain through an analysis of historical series of indicators.
