Análisis de la inserción laboral de los universitarios
Diferencias entre titulaciones
This report offers an in-depth look at the employment conditions of graduates of the Spanish University System. First, it provides a general overview of the labor market conditions of Spanish university graduates during this century, comparing the results in 2022 with that of graduates from other European countries and also the differences among the Spanish regions.
The study examines how job opportunities for graduates vary depending on different factors such as specialization, type of education, educational center and socioeconomic environment. Using data from INE’s Survey on the Labor Insertion of University Students (EILU), the report identifies the determinants of job outcomes in 2019 for those who graduated 5 years earlier, considering employment and other qualitative aspects such as salary and the match between education and work.
The report highlights the differences in labor market insertion by area of study, analyzing approximately 100 different areas to identify their strengths and weaknesses. In addition, it also offers a ranking on the labor market insertion results for these studies.
Finally, the report explores the positioning of the different universities in relation to the job placement in 2020 of graduates from the 2015-16 academic year, considering their educational specialization and other institutional factors. Using data from the Spanish Ministry of Universities and Social Security, labor market insertion rankings are created by areas of study and by university. In addition, it combines this information with that of the EILU to generate a general ranking of labor market insertion by university, taking into account the performance in each area of study and the educational offer of each institution.
