Clima social en la empresa

Social Sciences > Economics, Sociology

Europe is now close to monetary union, but is still not able to reduce its high levels of unemployment. The authors of this research project on the climate in companies note the existence of different “speeds” in their development, which makes it impossible to speak of “euro-employees” as a uniform concept. The study was carried out in Spain, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy and the U.S. It also finds conservative attitudes among workers in defending the maintenance of jobs, generated by the employment crisis. These results come from an analysis of aspects such as commitment to the company, outlook with respect to dismissal or attitudes to new technologies and their effect on employment. The methodology is based on surveys carried out with samples of the target group: employees.
