Las competencias digitales y digitalizadas
Sus implicaciones en el ámbito laboral y de los recursos humanos
This book explores the technological revolution and the transformation of work in the digital sphere, with a novel focus on the concept of digitalized competences. It addresses both digital and digitalized competences and the associated changes in working conditions, work organization and labor relations.
It centers its attention on management and its impact on productivity and wellbeing at work, as well as on human resources management and job redesign. It also analyzes the leadership skills such changes demand, considering organizational behavior and the socio-technical approach, and assesses how digitalization affects employee motivation, autonomy and responsibility. Finally, it looks at the implications for labor relations, working conditions, wages, continuous training and remote work, offering a comprehensive, multidisciplinary analysis of the subject.
The incorporation of digitalized competences is novel from a conceptual and methodological standpoint. While the role of digital competences has been widely studied and amply recognized, digitalized competences have received insufficient attention despite being present in multiple tasks and occupations.
The book’s content will be of interest to decision-makers in the realms of education, employment and welfare in both public and private institutions, as well as researchers and teachers, employment and education service professionals, and specialists or scientists interested in the phenomenon of digitalization. It will also find readers among the broader public.
