Modelos y estudio empírico del caso español
Social Sciences
A review of the literature on models that explain the number of bank branches in a market and the conceptualization of the determining factors of accessibility and cost of banking services in such a market, using the framework of spatial competition. As an empirical complement the theoretical models have been checked against the data available in the network of bank branches in Spain in the period 1983-1987.
