Despite the persistence and dynamism exhibited by family businesses, they have received little attention from economic researchers. This is especially true of their conceptual model and theoretical generalization. This book explores the family business as an economic institution and its role in wealth creation processes in Spain, as well as taking a broader look at its importance in the European Union context.
