Liberalization of Capital Movements and of the Domestic Financial System

The liberalization of international capital movements has been a phenomenon that has extended widely in the last two decades. This study analyzes the dynamic joint impact of liberalization of capital movements and the national financial sector. This includes both a simultaneous and sequential liberalization in an overlapping generation model with a Q theory of investment.
